A few weeks ago I decided to share a few things that I had been reading/using in my daily routines and I had so much fun putting that together, I decided I would like to dedicate one week a month to sharing new things with you all that are making my life better in some way!
This is the Fall Edition, which if anyone reading this knows me personally, you know this season is my absolute FAVORITE! And how perfect is the timing that today would be the official first day of Fall?! I hope you enjoy these things as much as I have been! And please feel free to comment below if you want to add anything to my list that I should know about!

A Fall Bucket List:
I love a good bucket list, but I just feel like there is nothing better than a FALL bucket list. It’s a collection of all my favorite things you guys!!! What could be better?!
I came across the blog Darlingdo on Instagram and this week she shared a Fall + Halloween Bucket List that she created and has available to download and print. I totally fell in love with it and printed it as soon as I could. We will be working on filling it out this week and I honestly get so pumped when I look at it! Doesn’t this make you want to do Fall things??
She also has a Fall Home Tour up on her page that is pretty exceptional. I’m into it!
Life Encouragement:
Every once in a while I come across a post that just resonates with me right where I am. This was one of them.
I started listening to the podcast “Simple” with Tsh Oxenreider a while ago and then signed up for her weekly email she sends out and it’s actually been a decision that I didn’t regret. I look forward to her emails! Amazing!
This week she linked this article in her email and it is just simple advice on how she manages life when things seem to get really overwhelming. It’s a simple and quick read; well worth it!
Montessori Clean-up:
Now, the nesting instinct is alive and well in my body right now as I am 36 weeks pregnant, but honestly, the Montessori approach to toddlerhood is one I have been interested in for a while. I picked up this book and read it recently and loved it!

On The EveryMom blog this week, they shared an article called, “I Montessori-ed My Toddler’s Toys- And Here’s What Happened” It is about how a mom who totally converted her son’s toy and play area into a calm environment for him, which lead him to want to play with his toys again – in a way that they were designed to be played with – not just taken out, thrown around and then left to be forgotten! As I read this article I found myself completely resonating with her and decided THAT DAY to do the same thing with Ford’s toys. (If nothing else, I have a lot less to clean up at the end of the day!)
An Autumn Playlist:
Over the past year or so I have really enjoyed finding/making good playlists for different occasions. Lately, I have found myself wanting something a bit calmer to listen to as I am cooking dinner and the idea of a fall playlist came to mind! Last year, The Everygirl released a Fall Playlist that I am still listening to. It’s that good. You can find it here.

I also just came across this one, and I am excited to throw it in the rotation.
I’d love to know what you think of these and if you have other ones you would like to share!
Easy Ways to Eat Healthier
I seriously love reading about tips that can make my eating habits healthier, especially if they are easy to implement and include in my everyday life. I get to read quite a few articles each week as a Beachbody Coach and this is the one I wanted to share because it is so simple!

Ilana Muhlstein created the nutrition program called 2B Mindset that has changed a lot about how I look at food and nutrition. I now see how food can be used as fuel and how what we are eating should look different throughout the day based on what our body needs! In this article, “4 Habits to Help You Start (and Keep!) Eating Healthy,” she shares a few of her tips for success!
A book for this season

I normally have so many books that I want to read, I can never just read one at a time. I oftentimes will have 5-6 books going at the same time and I just read a chapter or section in each one as I start my morning each day.
Knowing that I will be having a newborn in my life soon, I decided that during this season, I’d rather read one at a time and just savor the moments I get to read at all. The book I have chosen is one I have been excited about for a long time and it is titled: The Risen Motherhood.
Many of you probably know that The Risen Motherhood is a podcast (that I highly recommend) and the creators of this podcast have been working on this book for quite some time and just recently released it! They cover all different types of issues that mothers (and parents in general) go through, but always through the lens of the gospel! Listening to them speak about the truths that the Bible has for us as parents is always so refreshing and helps me reset my perspective.
Has anyone else read or ordered this book yet? I’d love to hear some opinions!!
~
Okay! That it is for this week! I hope this Monday finds you all doing well and I will see you back here next week, unless my little girl decides to come early!
